ZESA’S MINDFUL YOGA & MEDITATION*

Zesa’s signature course is fully integrated 10-Week Course that meets once per week for 45 minutes. The course explores the foundations of yoga, mediation, and mindfulness. It is accessible to beginners as well as the seasoned practitioner.

COURSES & EXPRESS SERIES

All course series use an evidence-based curriculum developed by Zesa. Our Express Series are condensed sessions that can be offered in the morning, during lunch, or any other time of day or night that is convenient.

WHAT IS MEDITATION, YOGA & MINDFULNESS?

 

MEDITATION

Meditation is the practice of concentrating or focusing the mind in a particular way in order to enhance mental clarity and psychological well-being. There are various forms of meditation, but in essence mediation allows us to notice habits, shift our mindset, and improve our state of being.

YOGA

Yoga means “union” or “yoke”. It is an ancient mind-body practice originating in Indian. There are various schools of yoga. Hatha yoga, combines asanas (physical poses) pranayama (breathing exercises), and mediation, has proven to have numerous mental, physical, and psychological benefits.

MINDFULNESS

Mindfulness is being fully aware of our present experience in a a non-judgmental way. As we shift our relationship to our experience by becoming an active observer of our thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations from moment to moment we are able to change our state of mind and improve our well-being.

Zesa’s 11-Month Study

Participants reported improvements in all 7 areas measured!

Zesa implemented their 10-Week evidence-based Mindfulness Program with adult employees in a high stress corporate environment. Classes were held once per week for 45 minutes. Pre and post assessments were conducted over an 11-month period using a five-point Likert scale with 5 being the strongest agreement.

Participants reported a perceived improvement scoring 4 to 5 on ALL seven measures post Zesa’s 10-Week Program.
